Pool noodles

The pool noodle – a popular accessory for active water lovers

For children and adults alike, water can inspire sporting achievement. From swimming records to synchronised swimming, many different disciplines inspire active people to perform at their best. People with health problems may find relief through aqua aerobics. Movement and exercise in the water are fun, and these exercises often use an accessory such as a pool noodle.

The pool noodle – available in many different versions

Pool noodles are available in many different versions. Made from a material such as polyethylene foam, a pool noodle is very flexible and can be used as a simple piece of exercise equipment in the water. Whether inflatable, horse-shaped or designed with a hole, it is a popular choice for people looking for a swimming aid because it is very easy to use. A pool noodle can be made of a solid material throughout, but hollow versions are also available.

The pool noodle – swimming fun for children

With its many bright colours, the pool noodle can serve well as a swimming aid for children. Purple, blue, green, red and even the popular pink turn a swimming course into a colourful mix when pool noodles are used for water exercise. When buying a pool noodle, customers can also stock up inexpensively on matching inflatable armbands , and anyone going on holiday should remember to take this colourful swimming aid for children on their beach holiday. Of course, a pool noodle is also a useful aid for adults who feel uncertain in the water. Tube or rod, the lightweight pool noodle can easily be taken to an indoor pool or the beach and requires little preparation before use. Only an inflatable model first needs to reach its full size, but that is a small effort when plenty of fun in the water follows.
